Ms. Robia Arshad

Environmental Science has been recognized as the science of sustainable development on earth. It is an emerging science of interdisciplinary academic fields that integrate physical and biological sciences to the study of environment. Environmental scientists bring a systematic approach to the analysis of environmental problems. They work on subjects like understanding of earth processes, development of alternate energy systems, pollution control and mitigation measures, cleaner production, environmental management systems, natural resources management, solid waste management and global climatic changes among others.

Program Objectives

The department of Computer Science missions by pursuing the follwing Objectives:

  •   To teach students lifelong learning skills, which will allow them to successfully adapt to evolving technologies throughout their professional career.
  •   To prepare students for employment and advanced studies.
  •   To teach students effective teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  •   To continue to pursue a high level of research productivity.

Faculty at NFC-IET have impeccable qualifications, extensive expertise and experience in their chosen fields and an overriding commitment to the welfare of their students. Our faculty is one of the biggest reasons why students select NFC-IET.

Facilities

The design of the Department of Environment Science in NFC-IET has been developed to provide both technologically advanced learning environments and inviting and comfortable interactive spaces. The goal of this project has been to promote collaborative interaction between students and faculty with public discussion of current computing science issues. Towards this end, the third floor of the ITC Building has been reconfigured to provide multiple, naturally lit technical laboratories, classrooms, student lobbies, and study spaces providing flexible open and inviting areas where students can engage in constructive exchanges and networking with peers, faculty, and the extended academic community. The Department of Computer Science Computing Sciences will promote both mastery of the leading technology of today and the collaborative teamwork skills necessary for tomorrow

Facilities in the labs are for better learning and to prepared them to fulfill the future job requirements. Following facilities are available in our lab:

  • Networking
  • Software Development
  • AI, Robotics
  • Access of Free Wifi
  • Highly Equipped computers
  • iMac Computers for research purposes
