Professional Skills Development Programme (PSDP) is a series of short courses/ seminars directed towards engineering and managers who aim at achieving excellence in their respective fields.

These courses cover a broad range of topics of interest on the technical aspects of industrial operations, maintenance and management. The Professional Skills Development Program conducted by the Institute has been attended by a wide  segment of personnel from organizations all over the country.

Apart from providing the participants with up-to-date knowledge to enhance their career and development them professionally, lectures, group discussions, case studies and advanced computer based simulation methods are the main inputs to these programs.

The main thrust of these programs is towards offering engineers, managers, supervisors, operators and technicians a fresh insight into problems and to equip them with a tactical, supervisory and conceptual skills needed to function as effective leaders of industry.
