The use of computers in the past decade has increased at a tremendous rate. The field of Information Technology (IT)
has changed the way we think, behave and live. Application of computers has produced enormous effects on the decision-making capability, efficiency and productivity of the users. It has proved productive in almost all walks of life particularly in the fields of administration, communication, defense, medicine, science, education and media. It has revolutionized research and development in all the engineering fields especially in the areas of computing, analysis, design and manufacturing. Realizing the profound influence of IT on our lives, and the rapid growth of this field, NFC Institute of Engineering and Technological Training decided to establish a Systems Engineering in 2001. The four years degree Program leading to a Bachelors degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Systems Engineering combines courses on both the software and hardware sides. The curriculum has been designed to prepare the students for software development in various computer languages and operating systems, creation of faster and more efficient ways of handling data, the discovery of new methods of problem solving, creation of high speed computer networks, designing and maintaining security of large databases.
