.NFC IET has added a two-year B.Tech Program to the list of four engineering disciplines and two four-year science programs. After an unprecedented success in the field of engineering and science, the management of NFC IET decided to launch technology programs as well. At present we have offered B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical technologies.
One of the basic reasons of launching a program on technology was, however, a poor state of B.Tech program in the country, especially in Multan. The quality of program had deteriorated to the extent that it was discontinued in GCT, Multan. The private colleges, on the other hand, are mostly interested in minting money and there is no concept of regular class work nor do they have adequate lab facilities.
It is for this pathetic state of affairs that NFC IET was prompted to take over and start B.Tech program. We are fully committed to produce the best B.Tech’s both at national and sub-continent level so that our graduates can compete for better job opportunities abroad, especially Middle East. Our program combines classroom studies in technology, humanities, social sciences and management with advance technical labs and industrial training experience. IET is equipped with state of the art technology- enabled teaching methodology that is backed by a strong practice based curriculum. Through a transformational process involving courses, industry practice and other co-curricular activities, the program seeks to create an exceptional leaders trained to operate in tomorrow’s complex technology oriented business environment. For this, we have devised a foolproof system of monitoring the class work and the resulting progress of the students. They are provided opportunities to acquire hands on experience in the well equipped labs. The students are encouraged to be regular and participative in practice based classroom courses. NFC IET hopes to excel in the field of technology and our highly qualified and experienced faculty and instructors are all geared up to achieve this objective.
