Industrial Tours

Students of the Institute are provided an opportunity to enhance their technical knowledge and broaden their outlook by undertaking tours of factories located all over Pakistan. The expenditure of these tours is borne partly by the Institute. Attendance in Industrial Tour is mandatory unless otherwise allowed by the Competent Authority. Industrial Training in order to gain practical experience in an industrial organization, on the job training is considered essential for the students.

It also goes a long way in familiarising the students with actual conditions in factories and various complex factors involved in their management and operation. Arrangement for practical training normally of 8-12 weeks duration, are either made or approved by the Director.The student is required to submit a brief report on the work carried out during industrial training and the management is requested to supply a report on the adaptability and progress of each student.No successful candidate shall be admitted to the degree unless he produces a certificate from the Director of having satisfactorily completed the industrial training.
